This is the 7th vintage of the Society Tasmania Riesling and we think it will live up to our high expectations. Previous vintages have been awarded 6 Trophies, 7 Gold, 1 Silver and 10 Bronze medals. This beautiful white will really stand the test of time. Right now it?s full of ripe tropical fruit and lemony zest with a bit of zing. If you can manage to keep some in the cellar, it will take on a more golden colour and mellow into toasty, honeyed ß avours with a fuller, rounder feel in your mouth.

19761 - Society Tasmanian Late Picked Riesling 2008 If you enjoy something a little fruitier with a touch of sweetness, this wine is for you. Leaving the grapes on the vine just that little bit longer allows for a natural sweetness. For those who want to know, to retain this sweetness, the fermentation was stopped by chilling the wine before all the sugar was converted to alcohol. For those who mainly care about what's in the glass, this wine has lime and floral aromas with a bit of zing on the tongue which is balanced by the sweet finish. A wine to simply chill and enjoy!
