WorkPlace Giving
What Is Workplace Giving?
Workplace giving is a simple and effective way for Wine Society staff, management and directors to regularly donate through pre-tax payroll deductions.
The Wine Society Management team have made a decision to financially support this programme by matching all donations dollar for dollar.
How does it help community organisations?
Financial assistance is vital to the ongoing work of charitable organisations. Workplace giving funding enables community organisations to better plan activities, goals and budgets based on a regular flow on income. This means greater community outcomes can be achieved.
Meet our community partners
The Wayside Chapel, a place of many tears, struggles and victories
Since 1964, The Wayside Chapel has provided non-judgmental support for all people in our community; young people, the homeless, the elderly, victims of domestic violence, abuse and substance addictions and people with mental health issues. We believe in the creative potential of every human being and in each person’s capacity to love and care for their neighbour, near and far.
Some people are fortunate to have supportive families, friends and neighbours, good physical and mental health and inner strength even in the face of great adversity. For those that don’t, there’s The Wayside Chapel.
RSPCA, For all creatures great and small
The mission of the RSPCA is to prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection. Areas of operation include the following: - Refuges and shelters, Inspectorate, Animal Ambulance, Veterinary Services, Behaviour Assessment, Cruelty Case Enrichment, Lost and Found service, Volunteer programme, Education programme, Bequest and Pet Legacy programme, fundraising and publicity and campaigns regarding animal welfare issues.
Centenary Institute, To improve the health and quality of life for all Australians through excellence in medical research
The Centenary Institute of Cancer Medicine and Cell Biology is a centre of excellence in medical research with a portfolio of projects in immunology and molecular medicine. Centenary scientists undertake ‘cutting edge’ research into the biology of normal and diseased cells, with the goal of improving our understanding of what causes disease and to translate these discoveries into clinical practice through development of new vaccines, better diagnostic tests and innovative forms of treatment.
