With all the wines we offer having passed an extremely tough Tasting Panel, it’s never a surprise to see them recognised by Australia’s premier critic. But it’s always nice nonetheless. Each of these featured drops has earned a minimum of 90 points from James Halliday.
Bright and refreshing, this wine is full of citrus zest, vanilla and white flowers. The palate is layered with lemon curd from the Chardonnay fruit and delicate strawberries from the Pinot Noir, balanced by creamy notes from aging in bottle and the refreshing natural acidity for which the Pipers River region is renowned. Aperitif in style, classic in execution.

“The 2009 Dom Pérignon is a gorgeous, totally seductive Champagne that will drink well right out of the gate ... Despite the warm, ripe personality of the 2009 Dom Pérignon is quite gracious, but there is plenty of depth underpinning the fruit. With each successive tasting, the 2009 seems to have gained more power and breadth, especially on the finish. Above all else, the 2009 is decidedly restrained for a warm, radiant vintage.” Antonio Galloni MW

A bold and ripe expression of this legendary wine. Floral and tropical
fruit characters on the nose mingle with gunpowder and toast. The palate
is intense and vivacious, unfurling with creaminess, complexity and tremendous length. The Dom in exquisite form.
