Pinot Noir is best known for the light- to medium-bodied reds of regions such as Burgundy and Central Otago (and, in Australia, Tasmania and Adelaide Hills). It also forms part of the classic Champagne blend and is a key contributor to many of the best sparklings. Pinot makes excellent rosés too, with the variety’s delicate charms perfectly suiting this lighter style.
Subtle aromas of dark cherry, raspberry and hints of spice. The palate displays vibrant cherry flavours surrounded by warm spice and toasty oak. Smooth tannins provide structure and balance.

“Put this on your shopping list. Simultaneously sweet and savoury with red/black cherry, anise and boysenberry providing plenty of juicy flavour. That’s the thing: it serves fruit sweetness but then tempers it beautifully. Spice notes add to the show. Fantastic value in a Pinot Noir context.” Campbell Mattinson

"Light in colour, but not in energy or drive. Complex spicy foresty notes intermingle with wild strawberry and red cherry aromatics across the bouquet and palate alike, fine, savoury tannins, red fruits and spices in an articulate discussion with no single winner. A lovely pinot." Halliday Wine Companion
