This multidimensional wine strikes the perfect balance of texture and freshness, with lively notes of passionfruit and lychee on a crisp yet mouth-filling palate. Soft fine acidity contributes to a long and clean finish.
Item Code: ITM5730
Elegant, fine and with a beautiful balance of crisp fruit and toasty brioche characters, this is one to drink if you like vintage Champagne but not its price tag. It’s a beautiful partner for smoked salmon too.
Item Code: ITM6242
Varietal cassis aromas are supported by blackberry, mint and forest floor characters on the palate. Maturation for 22 months in a mixture of new and old French and American oak adds structure and layers of complexity.
Item Code: 30009
Deep ruby with aromas of cigar box, spice and plum. A medium- to full-bodied blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec with cassis and currant flavours on a soft palate that displays great balance and structure. Already showing the gentle softness of maturing Merlot Cabernet blends, this stunning release still has plenty left in the tank.
Item Code: ITM1717
Crafted exclusively for The Wine Society by Peter Schell, winemaker at Spinifex Wines, this old vine Grenache has an alluring bouquet of ripe cherry, redcurrant and spicy undertones. A lively and fleshy palate carries plum and raspberry flavours, while fine tannins deliver a balanced finish.
Item Code: ITM2954
Crafted by winemaker Scott McCarthy, this is a classic Yarra Valley Pinot Noir. Vibrant crimson in the glass with intense aromas of dark berries and spicy oak. Rich flavours of blackberry, dark cherry and cassis combine subtle spice to create an expressive palate while silky tannins produce excellent texture and length. A superior wine of elegance, freshness and finesse.
Item Code: ITM2548
Intense in flavour but with an appealing lightness of touch, this elegant Syrah combines red and black fruits with savoury characters. New oak plays a part without dominating the fruit and tannins are fine-grained. The wine will age with grace but is drinking well on release.
