Cabernet Sauvignon’s spiritual home, and perhaps its true origin, is in Bordeaux, where it tends to be blended with other varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Australian Cab Savs are commonly made as single varietal wines, with Coonawarra and Margaret River heading most wine lovers’ lists of Cabernet regions.
A classically structured, full-bodied Cabernet with varietal aromas of blackberry, bay leaf and dark chocolate. Elegant flavours of cassis, dark chocolate and oak characters dominate the palate while fine tannins add structure and length.
