Australian Cab Savs are commonly made as single varietal wines, with Coonawarra and Margaret River heading most wine lovers’ lists of Cabernet regions.
Varietal cassis aromas are supported by blackberry, mint and forest floor characters on the palate. Maturation for 22 months in a mixture of new and old French and American oak adds structure and layers of complexity.
