One of the most widely planted grapes in the world, Grenache thrives in the hot dry climates of France’s Rhône Valley and in Spain, where it is known as Garnacha. Unsurprisingly, it has also proved a success in Australia’s warmer wine regions. It is often blended with Shiraz and Mourvèdre to make robust ‘Rhône blend’ wines.
A wonderfully food-friendly style, made without any oak. Young and all about the fruit – bright red berries, cherry and violet combine with notes of violet and dried spice to create a balanced and utterly moreish wine. While drinking beautifully now, this Grenache will continue to reward with carefully cellaring.

A balance of 75% Grenache and 25% Shiraz, this is one juicy wine. It begins with intense fruit aromas that move in a rich palate of red berries, spice and chocolate supported by hints of French oak. A beautiful food-friendly wine with good complexity and depth.

With inviting raspberry and cherry aromas at the fore, this wine exudes charm from the first whiff. The palate is vibrant with generous layers of rich red fruits, bitter chocolate and creamy vanillin oak, all of which are framed by fine-grained tannins. This is a great representation of premium McLaren Vale Grenache at a fair price.

A robust Barossa blend brooding with rich red and black fruits, peppery spice and thick, chewy tannins. Not for the faint hearted.
Item Code: ITM5136
"Single vineyard grenache from the Barossa. Whole bunches, basket pressing, 500l oak, bottled unfined. Crackerjack grenache. Brimful of both power and personality but without being overdone. Florals, blueberries, redcurrant and bitumen. A flash of sweet raspberry but blink-and-you-miss-it. Tannin flings wide through the wine. A beauty." Campbell Mattinson
