Pinot Noir is best known for the light- to medium-bodied reds of regions such as Burgundy and Central Otago (and, in Australia, Tasmania and Adelaide Hills). It also forms part of the classic Champagne blend and is a key contributor to many of the best sparklings. Pinot makes excellent rosés too, with the variety’s delicate charms perfectly suiting this lighter style.
A wonderful Mornington Pinot sitting firmly in the savoury end of the spectrum. Complex aromas of leaf litter and earth, mushroom and cured meats, all wrapped around a core of blood plum. The generous palate has dark fruits, and black tea characters with leather and spice, culminating in a long, layered and savoury finish. Outstanding.

"Light, bright crimson-purple; a bright and fresh into to the suite of lovely Moorooduc Estate Pinots from this great vintage. It is delicate, but very detailed, cherry fruit to the fore, and lingering long through to the aftertaste with the same message." Halliday Wine Companion
Item Code: ITM20557
Spiced red fruits, dark cherry and gamey/meaty notes, supported by vanillin oak. The mid-weight expansive palate is awash with red fruits and undergrowth savouriness leading to a lingering finish. Excellent.
Item Code: ITM21763
A developing, mature nose of warm red fruits with earth and spice and a savoury note of black tea. The riper nose gives way to a more savoury palate, layered and complex with mushroom, dried herbs, and meaty tones amongst the fleshy fruits. Excellent.
