Pinot Noir is best known for the light- to medium-bodied reds of regions such as Burgundy and Central Otago (and, in Australia, Tasmania and Adelaide Hills). It also forms part of the classic Champagne blend and is a key contributor to many of the best sparklings. Pinot makes excellent rosés too, with the variety’s delicate charms perfectly suiting this lighter style.
Bright red fruits on the nose that open up onto a palate of raspberry, dark cherry and hints of savoury spices. Medium-bodied with soft tannins gives a fine acid structure to a long finish.

'Light to medium red-purple colour, very bright and youthful. The bouquet is shy and reserved but clean and fragrant, with red cherry to strawberry nuances. A light, almost ethereal pinot of considerable charm.' Huon Hooke

What a wine! The use of whole bunches during fermentation has given this Pinot a wonderful herbal character, with sappy gaminess and dried cherry aromas. The depth of flavour on the palate is stunning, with incredible concentration and layered complexity. Good length on the finish too, with a spicy, herbal tone. Outstanding.
