Pinot Noir is best known for the light- to medium-bodied reds of regions such as Burgundy and Central Otago (and, in Australia, Tasmania and Adelaide Hills). It also forms part of the classic Champagne blend and is a key contributor to many of the best sparklings. Pinot makes excellent rosés too, with the variety’s delicate charms perfectly suiting this lighter style.
Attractive red fruits, florals and hints of spice on the nose. The palate begins with layers of cherry, raspberry and red currant and then intertwines with spice and savoury notes, supported by supple tannins. A bargain Pinot!
