Pinot Noir is best known for the light- to medium-bodied reds of regions such as Burgundy and Central Otago (and, in Australia, Tasmania and Adelaide Hills). It also forms part of the classic Champagne blend and is a key contributor to many of the best sparklings. Pinot makes excellent rosés too, with the variety’s delicate charms perfectly suiting this lighter style.
Delicious red berry fruits, dark cherry and spice characters, there are mushroom and floral backgrounds contributing to a delicious complexity and fine tannins.
