Chardonnay is one of the world’s most popular grape varieties; originally from France’s Burgundy region, today it is planted almost anywhere that wine is produced. Chardonnay has a relatively neutral flavour profile, which allows winemakers to use a variety of skills and techniques to create a wide range of styles from taut and linear to rich and buttery.
A delicate French wine from a vineyard near the town of Macon in the south of Burgundy. Golden yellow in colour with expressive fruit aromas on the nose. The palate is full of apple and pear with a good natural acidity for balance that ends with a lingering finish.
