Chardonnay is one of the world’s most popular grape varieties; originally from France’s Burgundy region, today it is planted almost anywhere that wine is produced. Chardonnay has a relatively neutral flavour profile, which allows winemakers to use a variety of skills and techniques to create a wide range of styles from taut and linear to rich and buttery.
“Aromas of bright citrus, lemon and oyster shell with a touch of minerality on the palate, where rich characters of fig and white nectarine lead into a lemon sherbet acid tingle on the finish. A powerful yet restrained wine.” Winemaker Jason Brown SAVE $120 per dozen when you upgrade to Best in Society. Call 1300 723 723 to find out more.

“A very well made wine with high quality grapes the cornerstone. There is a purity to the white peach, nectarine and citrus flavours, oak an essential means to the end, but not of particular significance in the flavour profile. Great value. ” Halliday Wine Companion

This contemporary Chardonnay is fresh, crisp and lively with just enough textural complexity from lees stirring. The wine was hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed before taking to some barrel fermentation in French oak. The result is a refined wine of flavour and finesse.
