Pinot Grigio’s spiritual home is Europe. France’s Alsace region (where it is known as Pinot Gris) produces delicious textured wines and in Italy it is a true superstar. Italian Pinot Grigios tend to be light-bodied and lean wines with great acidity and crisp citrus fruit flavours. It is an increasingly popular variety in Australia; here, whether it is labelled Gris or Grigio is often an indicator of style.
Aromas of pear and citrus with hints of orange blossom on the nose. The palate is light and refreshing with crisp fruit flavours, good acidity and a zesty finish. An aromatic, well-balanced and enjoyable wine.

"A bright, pale straw green wine with a pink hue. On the nose this Pinot Gris leaps from the glass with ripe Anjou pear and chalky minerality. These delightful flavours carry through to the palate which is fresh and crisp, finishing with soft spice characters." Mike Farmilo, winemaker
