Riesling probably has its origins in Germany, on the banks of the Rhine and Mosel rivers, where it has been cultivated at least as far back as 1435. Alsace in north eastern France is Riesling’s other traditional home. Today, Australia can lay claim to some of the finest Rieslings in the world, with the Clare Valley, Eden Valley and Tasmania earning particular global acclaim.

"Arguably the most detailed Churinga to date reaching lofty heights with its clarity and whorl of citrus from mandarin blossom, lemon juice and pith with flavours building along the palate. Its frame is linear and elegant, and the acidity has laser precision right through to the long finish." Halliday Wine Companion

"Peglidis presents itself as a wine of intensity and depth with complex flavours that are quite savoury in outlook. Coriander seeds, lemon salt, aspirin and wet slate. Of course, there's excellent fruit and acid balance, both key to its vibrancy, detail and potential age-worthiness. On song."Halliday Wine Companion
