Riesling probably has its origins in Germany, on the banks of the Rhine and Mosel rivers, where it has been cultivated at least as far back as 1435. Alsace in north eastern France is Riesling’s other traditional home. Today, Australia can lay claim to some of the finest Rieslings in the world, with the Clare Valley, Eden Valley and Tasmania earning particular global acclaim.
This is a refreshing and lively Riesling with a wonderful balance of citrus and herbaceous aromas and flavours. Lemon and lime aromas are complemented by a hint of tropical fruit and fine dried herbs, which continue on the palate, while a good vein of acidity contributes freshness.

Lifted aromas of pear, apple, citrus and floral notes. The palate is zippy and fresh with lovely fruit density combined with a natural minerality and zesty acidity. Delicate, refreshing and well-balanced this is a wine to enjoy over and over again.

"It is tremendously intense and fragrant to sniff, with lovely apple-blossom aromas while the palate is very fresh and crisp with terrific natural acidity driving a fine but generously fruity palate. It is surprisingly accessible now. It will probably not be as long lived as the 2017 but will give pleasure immediately." Huon Hooke
