Riesling probably has its origins in Germany, on the banks of the Rhine and Mosel rivers, where it has been cultivated at least as far back as 1435. Alsace in north eastern France is Riesling’s other traditional home. Today, Australia can lay claim to some of the finest Rieslings in the world, with the Clare Valley, Eden Valley and Tasmania earning particular global acclaim.
Fragrant citrus aromas carry onto a refreshing palate bursting with lemon and lime, with juicy undertones of lychee and grapefruit. Crisp, vibrant and utterly delicious!

What makes this wine special is its' purity and focus. Sure, it's got lifted aromatics of lime zest and white flowers and an array of citrus fruit flavours but it is the precision of those flavours and the way they demand attention throughout the palate that mark it out.

“The Xabregas Artisan Riesling has taken me on a real journey and all my members adore it. Wonderfully fresh and textural, this Riesling has been barrel fermented. Imagine an explosion of lemon and freshly cut finger limes with a creamy mid palate and a slate like minerality. Finishing bone dry with a bright acidity, this is my pick to accompany freshly shucked oysters and shellfish on a hot summer’s day. It’s a Riesling with real x-factor and finesse.” Kristelle Colling, Personal Wine Advisor
