On its own or as part of a blend, Sauvignon Blanc is fully established as one of the most popular grape varieties of all. As a single varietal wine its spiritual home is France’s Loire Valley, but it is in New Zealand’s Marlborough region that it has become a global phenomenon. In Bordeaux, it is traditionally blended with Semillon, a style that has been emulated with great success in Western Australia.
"A particularly good release from this favourable vintage. Snowpea and mown grass are the first impression, and citrus, green melon and crunchy apple providing the fruit driven aspect. A touch of smoky/gunflint character adds complexity. Juicy flavours, texture and length are all big ticks on the palate." Halliday Wine Companion

A classic Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc. Bright citrus, herbaceous and tropical fruit aromatics lead onto a crisp palate, where apple and stonefruit flavours and zesty natural acidity combine to create a wine of purity and drinkability. Perfect to enjoy with or without food on a sunny afternoon.

Barrel-fermentation, a touch of skin contact and maturation on lees have given this wine an incredible structure and complexity. A true Fumé style showing herbal aromas and nutty characters, together with pineapple and lemon sherbet on the palate. Excellent.
