On its own or as part of a blend, Sauvignon Blanc is fully established as one of the most popular grape varieties of all. As a single varietal wine its spiritual home is France’s Loire Valley, but it is in New Zealand’s Marlborough region that it has become a global phenomenon. In Bordeaux, it is traditionally blended with Semillon, a style that has been emulated with great success in Western Australia.
Fragrant nose with gooseberry and peach aromas with hints of floral and citrus. The palate is bright and generous with flavours of stonefruits and citrus, backed by crisp acidity which leads to a clean and elegant finish. A delightfully flavoursome wine.
