On its own or as part of a blend, Sauvignon Blanc is fully established as one of the most popular grape varieties of all. As a single varietal wine its spiritual home is France’s Loire Valley, but it is in New Zealand’s Marlborough region that it has become a global phenomenon. In Bordeaux, it is traditionally blended with Semillon, a style that has been emulated with great success in Western Australia.
A fresh and lively blend with lifted aromas of tropical fruits and hints gooseberry and citrus. The crisp acid backbone provides balance and structure and leads to a refreshing finish.

“Hand-picked, basket-pressed, wild-fermented, matured for 3 months in French oak. A complex and strongly herbal/green capsicum/asparagus bouquet changes focus on the palate, adding volumes of fruit flavours ranging from citrus to strongfruit and tropical fruits. A wine of character and quality.” Halliday Wine Companion
