On its own or as part of a blend, Sauvignon Blanc is fully established as one of the most popular grape varieties of all. As a single varietal wine its spiritual home is France’s Loire Valley, but it is in New Zealand’s Marlborough region that it has become a global phenomenon. In Bordeaux, it is traditionally blended with Semillon, a style that has been emulated with great success in Western Australia.
This classic Margaret River blend boasts typical aromas of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is medium to light in body and offers straightforward fruit characters with racy acidity and a dry, lengthy finish.
