On its own or as part of a blend, Sauvignon Blanc is fully established as one of the most popular grape varieties of all. As a single varietal wine its spiritual home is France’s Loire Valley, but it is in New Zealand’s Marlborough region that it has become a global phenomenon. In Bordeaux, it is traditionally blended with Semillon, a style that has been emulated with great success in Western Australia.
This wine displays white grapefruit, green apple and citrus aromas with subtle herbaceous notes and spice. The palate is balanced by a clean minerality and a textural mouthfeel with incredible length.
