On its own or as part of a blend, Sauvignon Blanc is fully established as one of the most popular grape varieties of all. As a single varietal wine its spiritual home is France’s Loire Valley, but it is in New Zealand’s Marlborough region that it has become a global phenomenon. In Bordeaux, it is traditionally blended with Semillon, a style that has been emulated with great success in Western Australia.
Zesty and bright with flavours of lime, green apple, passionfruit and white peach. Drink this one nice and cold in the sunshine, with or without a bucket of prawns.
