On its own or as part of a blend, Sauvignon Blanc is fully established as one of the most popular grape varieties of all. As a single varietal wine its spiritual home is France’s Loire Valley, but it is in New Zealand’s Marlborough region that it has become a global phenomenon. In Bordeaux, it is traditionally blended with Semillon, a style that has been emulated with great success in Western Australia.
Clear pale lemon in colour. Opulent aromas of pineapple, tropical fruits, lemon balm and fresh cut herbs. Expect a generous and textual mouthfeel from the barrel ferment, minerality, juicy acidity and soft phenolics on the back palate.
