The cool-climate of the Yarra Valley allows Chandon to produce Chardon fruit, which is of consistently high quality. Enticing aromas of white flowers, grapefruit and stone fruit aromas. The palate is delicate with notes on fresh pear and apple balanced by zesty acidity and exceptional length.

The Barons of Barossa wine fraternity was founded in 1975 and makes up many of the top producers in the Barossa including Elderton, Henschke, Kalleske, Glaetzer Wines, Kaesler Wines and Yalumba, to name a few. This wine is made exclusively by the Barons for The Wine Society from some of their finest fruit parcels.
Lifted aromas of blackberry, earth and coffee follow onto a palate of juicy cassis, dark plum and spice. Fine grained tannins combine with refreshing acidity on the finish.
Item Code: ITM3050
A blend of 79% Shiraz and 21% Tempranillo. Liquorice, leather, forest fruits and chocolate – this is a wine for glugging but it’s anything but simple, each mouthful bringing a new layer to enjoy.
Item Code: ITM6058
"Nashi pear, some spice and perfume, maybe something like brittle toffee? Juicy and plump, fine balance, creamy, a spread of ultra-fine powdery tannin keeps it trim, and there’s some other other stuff going on, not least a long finish with a hint of bitterness, yet never mind all that really: richness, with freshness, structure, and flavour is the import. So bloody good to drink." Gary Walsh
Item Code: ITM19739
An array of dark fruits spill out of the glass - plum, blackberry, mulberry, and touch of dark cherry - supported by subtle oak notes, and clove spice. The palate is fleshy and generous showing dark berries with a touch of tobacco leaf, and subtle minerality all leading to a long and spicy finish, framed by a hint of oak.
Item Code: ITM24096
Hailing from the excellent 2014 Hawke’s Bay vintage comes this medium-bodied Syrah. Aromas of violet and cassis continue onto a fleshy palate that tastes of thyme and dark plum with some earthy notes. Chalky tannins add structure, power and precision, and lead into a long, dry finish.
Item Code: ITM3719
A beautifully balanced wine with lifted white peach and nectarine aromas. The palate displays apple, lime and stone fruit along with spicy vanillin oak nuances.
Item Code: ITM3568
Earthy characters combine with delicate notes of strawberry, cherry and nuances of oak to create a lovely wine of freshness and length. Drinking beautifully now but will reward with careful cellaring.
Item Code: ITM5374
Rich dark and red fruit, mocha, spice and French oak on the nose. A soft, juicy palate with fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity. An elegant yet subtle wine with excellent length.
Item Code: ITM6774
Richly flavoured with pure dark berry flavours of mulberry, cassis and plum. Well integrated cedar/mocha oak creates great length and balance. Solid but very fine grained tannin structure completes this well rounded wine.
Item Code: ITM5942
"Citrus again, meyer lemon, grapefruit with hints of anise spice and flowers, more generous than the last few years but still the thrilling acidity and green apple crunch." Bryan Martin, winemaker
Item Code: ITM19737
"Shiraz was co-fermented with a small amount of viognier. This often results in some softening of the palate, but this wine retains power, concentration and texture, savoury tannins carrying the back-palate and finish to a long conclusion." Halliday Wine Companion
Item Code: ITM2008
Contemporary in style this youthful wine offers fabulous flavour intensity yet is still approachable and refreshing. A fragrant bouquet of ripe lemon and spicy talc continues onto the palate. Rich and juicy, the palate is supported a crisp acid line which leads the wine to long, clean and refreshing finish.
Item Code: ITM21146
This wine is all about fruit purity and elegance. Although barrel-fermented, and matured on lees, the oak is a background note, adding complexity and texture. The palate is crisp and textural, long and refined with wonderfully balanced acidity and a hint of salinity on the finish. Excellent.
Item Code: ITM22131
Perfumed and savoury, with a dark fruit core, this is not your typical Barossa Shiraz. There's no jamminess or sweet, confected fruit, this is all about layers and complexity, with raspberry and blackberry fruit underpinned by gamey notes and spice. Excellent.
Item Code: ITM22134
'Light to medium red-purple colour, very bright and youthful. The bouquet is shy and reserved but clean and fragrant, with red cherry to strawberry nuances. A light, almost ethereal pinot of considerable charm.' Huon Hooke
Item Code: ITM15435
A wonderfully elegant wine with a savoury, herbal nose underpinned by a core of black fruits. The mid-weight palate shows great concentration and balance with a long and layered finish. Savoury and moreish. Highly Recommended.
Item Code: ITM22360
Perfumed aromas of blueberry and plum with hints of game and fresh herbs. The palate is soft and textured with layers of juicy berry fruits, lavender and exoitic spices, framed by smoky oak and silky tannins. A delightful wine with excellent depth of flavour and length.
Item Code: ITM21129
A medium-bodied 60/35/5% blend of shiraz, grenache and tempranillo that spent 18 months in 100% new French oak - namely a single hogshead; the best components went into this wine, which has absorbed the new oak without demur, emerging fresh and unscathed on the lingering finish. 94 points, James Halliday.
Item Code: 29821
This handcrafted wine is structured, complex and elegant. White pepper and thyme aromas lead into a palate that is full and rounded. Plum and blueberry flavours give way to an attractive savoury character, while fine tannins provide structure.
Item Code: ITM4650
"Bowled over by balance. It’s bold with flavour but everything here feels so well placed. It tastes of licorice, redcurrant, black cherries and peppery herbs, and while there’s a velvety/creaminess to the texture oak is not a major flavour contributor. Tannin spreads and runs through a good deal of the wine, almost always a good sign. Length, tick. Fabulous." Campbell Mattinson
Item Code: ITM7091
"Single vineyard grenache from the Barossa. Whole bunches, basket pressing, 500l oak, bottled unfined. Crackerjack grenache. Brimful of both power and personality but without being overdone. Florals, blueberries, redcurrant and bitumen. A flash of sweet raspberry but blink-and-you-miss-it. Tannin flings wide through the wine. A beauty." Campbell Mattinson
Item Code: ITM7093
Bright floral aroams with hints of flint and smoke. The palate is layered with flavours of grapefruit, fig, lemon sherbet, quince and green apple. The textural mouthfeel is balanced by natural acidity and leads to a long finish.
Item Code: ITM19725
Classic textbook Cabernet character - Cassis, touch of green pepper, tobacco/cigar box notes. The savoury palate is balanced and concentrated, with good structure and length. Recommended.
Item Code: ITM22352
Fragrant aromas of stonefruit, citrus and white florals, which continue onto the lively palate and combine with subtle vanilla and honey notes for a textural mouthfeel. Good natural acidity and minerality provide balance and length. A charming wine.
